Life and its back handed surprises: I had a couple of falls and spent too much time healing, doctoring and bugging my poor hubby in his role as caretaker and a better one there cannot be. I am forever indebted to him for his deep devotion, our many warm and wonderful friends who constantly checked in for updates and nothing but superb medical personnel I have been lucky to encounter. Back home in Rochester we are taking forever to really settle in because we are so busy doctoring, “erranding” and trying to keep up and catch up with our many blessings in this town, friends, venues and seeing sites. Rochester is truly a joy and should be high on people’s ” I will visit list”. Let us know when you are coming. We will show you the joys to be seen and wine and dine you to the hilt.
Meanwhile, I continue to read many good good books, see movies and films and schedule the music and drama, art and sites that we crave to enjoy. I intend to continue blogging as often as possible with stories and insights to share. I savor your feedback as always. I have many stories, wise words and tales to tell and am anxious to get back into our city life. We celebrate our 55th anniversary on the first day of summer and also the first day of our beloved Rochester Jazz Fest. So that will take 9 days of getting settled away from my to do list. I can’t wait to rock and bounce to the beat. I can’t sit still when listening to music and look forward to the joys and surprises of the many venues per evening. Now, to the next item on my list of to do. It certainly takes discipline.
